Training at Invent Resources
Training and workshops are available for those who wish to learn  more about the invention process and the development of your ideas.
 
The invention workshops are a practical, interesting and exciting method to obtain the information and knowledge required to take your idea to the market. Currently, Invent Resources are offering two separate workshops:
   
An Introductory Session held on week nights and a further comprehensive Invention Workshop which runs for an entire day on Saturdays.
 

Introductory Session

 
The Introductory Session is held on week nights from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and conducted in small groups of 10 – 12 people in a confidential environment.
 
The session will cover the following topics:
 
-         Introduction for corporate structure
-         Introduction in Intellectual Property
-         Introduction in Design and Development
-         Introduction in Commercialisation
 
Introductory Session Price: $110 (GST inclusive)
 

Invention Workshop

 
The invention workshops is a comprehensive full day course conducted in small groups of 10 to 12 people in a confidential environment. The workshop is broken up into four sessions covering all aspects of successfully bringing your idea to the market:
 
Session 1: Introduction: The Idea and Research.
 
-         Assess your idea
-         Research your idea in the context of a competitive market
-         Financing your project
 
Session 2: Protect your Idea. (Learn the difference between):
 
-         Patent
-         Trademark
-         Design Patent
-         Copyright
-         Importance of having the right business structure
 
Session 3: Research and Development
 
-         What you need to consider about your design
-         Your prototype
-         Your item cost and its effect on the market
 
Session 4: Commercialisation of your product
 
-         Investigate the avenues you can take to bring your product to the market.
